About

Design Educator
& Practitioner

A GATE-qualified Architect and Design Educator with over 7 years of combined experience spanning design education and architectural practice. I have taught across B.Arch, B.Des, and M.Des programmes, shaping the minds of more than 5,000 students and personally mentoring over 50 postgraduate scholars.

My teaching philosophy sits at the intersection of rigorous technical knowledge and India's ancient wisdom traditions. Whether in a studio setting or a digital classroom, I strive to make complex systems — from Building Information Modelling to Vastu Shastra — intuitive, contextual, and deeply human.

As a GATE tutor for Architecture & Planning, I have helped aspiring architects and planners clear one of India's most competitive national examinations, combining structured syllabus mastery with strategic exam psychology.

Narratives as Pedagogical Architecture: Ancient Stories, Modern Minds

This research investigates how narrative-based interventions drawn from India's Puranic tradition can meaningfully influence cognitive, moral, and spatial development in early childhood. The study positions story not merely as entertainment but as an epistemic architecture — a structured system through which values, reasoning, and cultural identity are transmitted.

Central to the inquiry are two foundational texts: the Bhagavat Mahapuran, with its rich cosmological and relational narratives, and the Garuda Mahapuran, which encodes systems of consequence, ethics, and the architecture of the human lifespan. Both are examined not as religious doctrine but as design systems — tested over millennia for their capacity to hold and transfer complex human knowledge.

The research contributes to a growing discourse on decolonising early education curricula, proposing frameworks that are both culturally rooted and empirically rigorous.
